Skills Training for Lay and Community Counselors

Bring the benefits of counseling to your offices, schools, hospitals, churches, and communities by holding counseling skills workshops for your personnel/staff, office and community leaders.

We offer the following skills training workshops for lay and para-professionals in the people helping fields:

• Counseling Training
  • Level 1: Basic Skills in Counseling
  • Level 2: Basic Skills in Family Counseling
  • Level 3: Basic Skills in Child Counseling
  • Level 4: Basic Skills in Group Counseling and Growth Facilitation
  • Level 5: Continuing Education Series

Those who finish at least 3 of the above are eligible to apply as wholeness facilitator of CCWC, and may be called on as needed basis to assist in Workshops with the Center’s Senior Consultants.

• Training for Disaster Workers
  • Equipping for Disaster and Trauma Work
  • Establishing Child Friendly Space

These skills training workshops may be brought to your community or organizations or you may pre-enlist for future in-house offerings of such workshops.

When you request these seminars and/or workshops to be brought to your organization/community, they can be tailor made to suit the needs and purposes of your group. They can also be designed as short, introductory courses or as intensive and full length courses.
